PDF generated has smaller font size post upgrade

Summary



PDF generated on Pega 7.2.2 using the out-of-the-box HTMLToPDF activity has smaller fonts when compared to the PDF generated on PRPC 6.1 SP2.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Upgrade from PRPC 6.1 SP2 to Pega 7.2.2
  2. Configure a use case to contain an attachment generated using the out-of-the-box HTMLToPDF activity
  3. Run the use case and generate PDF


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Resolution



Perform the following local-change:

Add param.htmlWidth to HTMLToPDF activity and set the value to 950. This value is inversely proportional to the generated font size.
