PEGA-0031 alert: Stream being overwritten

Summary
PEGA0031 alerts occur when a stream is overwritten without being sent to the browser.

Steps to Reproduce
- In the flow action's pre-processing activity, add a Show-HTML step.
- Launch the User portal.
- Navigate to the screen where the flow action is invoked.
Root Cause
A software use or operation error.
At the user end, the custom activity used the Show-HTML step. Additionally, the out-of-the-box work- perform activity also had the Show-HTML step.
Removing Show-HTML step from custom activity does not log any Pega 0031 alert.
Resolution
Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:
PEGA0031 alert is generated when multiple calls exist for Show-Stream and Show-HTML (where the output stream is sent to the client).

Perform either of the following local-changes:
- Modify the custom activity to remove Show-HTML.
- Configure the custom activity such that it is conditional and the Show-HTML step is not invoked.
