Summary



Pega 8.1.3 installation using the Command Line fails on Windows Server 2016.


Error Messages



java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\PegaInstallTemp-04-March-2019-00.01.54\pr_temp\StaticContent\global\ServiceExport\PRPC_Rules\rule-category.zip (The system cannot find the file specified)


Steps to Reproduce



Install Pega 8.1.3 (follow the instructions provided in the Pega 8.1.3 Installation Guide).


Root Cause



A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment.
The Windows Defender anti virus removed archive files (rules zip file) from the installation temp directory. The archive files were created by the Pega Installer.


Resolution



Make the following change to the operating environment:

Temporarily disable the anti virus while performing the installation.
