Steps to Reproduce

Run the uprade. sh script.

Root Cause

A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment.
The environment is configured to have a maximum number of ports. The Upgrade script opens and closes connections to the database. Once the maximum number of ports is reached, the connection to the database does not occur.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Multiple resumes of the Upgrade script completes the upgrade.

Change the Environment to increase the maximum number of ports (such that future executions of the Upgrade script can complete without having to resume).
