Pega converts to Incorrect Date format after upgrade

Summary


 

When fetching data from another source using REST services, the DateTime is not parsed as a valid DateTime value. This occurs when the DateTime is passed to the Pega REST service in the JSON request in the yyyymmdd format.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Run any REST Service.
  2. Pass the DateTime in the yyyymmdd format. A different format is taken in Pega 8.1.


Root Cause



The yyyymmdd format is not accepted as a valid Date format in Pega 8.1.


Resolution



Here's the explanation to the reported behavior:

In Pega 8.1.3 or later, yyyy-mm-dd is accepted as a valid Date format.

Update to Pega 8.1.3 or later.
