Summary


 

Pega development node is not visible at the server on the Autonomic Event Services (AES) 7.2.


Error Messages


 

[662 EST] SystemErr R log4j:ERROR Exception in SOAPAppenderPega.sendEvent()
[663 EST] SystemErr R log4j:ERROR Msg: The server  failed to respond
[663 EST] SystemErr R log4j:ERROR Cause:httpclient.NoHttpResponseException: The server  failed to respond
[359 EST] SystemErr R log4j:ERROR SOAPAppender failed: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The XMLInputFactory does not recognize the property "reuse-instance".
[359 EST] SystemErr R java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The XMLInputFactory does not recognize the property "reuse-instance".

Caused by: Transport error: 404 Error: Not Found http.HTTPSender.handleResponse(HTTPSender.java:309)at Sender.sendViaPost(HTTPSender.java:194)

 

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Enter the Pega Endpoint SOAP URL in the Pega Diagnostic Cloud URL field  
  2. Verify the connection


Root Cause



Unsupported version of the IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) was used to run the Pega version.

Resolution


 

Perform the following local-change:
Use a supported version of the WebSphere Application Server as described in the platform Support Guide or upgrade Pega to match the version of the WebSphere Application Server.
