Pega login screen when using IAC

Summary
When the user logs in to the parent portal, and tries to launch the Pega application using Internet Application Composer (IAC) the user gets the Pega login screen.
This behavior is not expected as the user should be logged in automatically using the PegaA params.
Error Messages
"PRGateway Exception: Error response from PRPC"
Steps to Reproduce
- Login to parent/host application using single-sign-on.
- Launch Pega Web mash up by passing user id as value for PegaA parameter.
- Notice the "PRGatway Exception: Error response from PRPC" message sporadically.
Root Cause
A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment. Pega authentication activity is failing since there was an extra space at the end of the user Id.
Resolution
Make the following changes to the operating environment:
Trim the user Id before passing it to Pega to remove the extra space around the user Id.
