Pega Mobile app issue with timeout



Pega app built with HC. After few hours of inactivity on the mobile client, sometimes the mobile client shows the below error.

Error Messages

UI in Hybrid client: UI displays

Server log: Security violation attempting to access requestor

Steps to Reproduce

1) Launch app.
2) Leave it on for a few hours.
3) Launch to mobile app again.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

The presence of a selected and unauthenticated access group under the unauthenticated Requestor Type caused indeterminate behavior.


Perform the following local-change:

Ensure that Browser Requestor type has just one Access Group.
