Pega7.1.7:Chevron view of stages are not showing properly in IE8

Summary
In IE8 the Chevrons in Dashboard and Where am I are too long and not arranged horizontally like the way default Pega chevrons look. The issue arises when the link to "Show All Steps" is clicked.
But this issue is not occuring when in other browser like Mozilla, chrome.
Resolution
This issue is resolved through the following local change:
1. Override pyStageName into your Application ruleset.
2. Save As the section pzStageProcessesList as pyStageProcessList. Remove the styles that have been applied to the three controls in the section (Presentation Tab -> Advanced Presentation Options).
3. Refer the section pyStageProcessList in pyStageName.
