PegaCall Configuration Wizard is not working

Summary



When running the PegaCall Configuration Wizard from within the Designer Studios Portal, an error is seen on the "Review and Save" step  coupled calling a library function.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Run the PegaCall Configuration Wizard from Designer Studio landing page.
  2. Navigate in the screen flow to the final step "Review and Save".
  3. Observer the errors on screen.


Root Cause



The application is built upon Pega Customer Service 7.21 and Marketing Framework.

When the wizard is executed, it will invoke a 'quote' function from 'GenerateModel' activity, which is referenced in a shorthand notation.

Since the 'quote'  function is present under Pega library as well as the Pega Decision library this shorthand notation cannot resolve to the desired rule. 

Resolution



Modify the sub-step 2 of step 3 in the ‘GenerateModel’ activity to be as seen in the screen shot below:
