PegaCard-Sd-Dispute- Class Inheritance difference in SD versions

Summary



Uplifting application from PRPC 6.1 SP2 or SD 04-01 to Pega 7.2 or SD 07-15, observed that 'PegaCard-Sd-Dispute-' class inheritance (parent class) is different.

In 04-01 vesrion: class inheritance is to PegaApp-Work-.
In 07-15 version: class inherirance is to PegaAcct-Work.

Impact: Flows defined in ‘PegaApp-Work-‘are skipping or not executed. 

 

Error Messages



Not applicable.


Steps to Reproduce



Open PegaCard-Sd-Dispute- class both in SD 04-01 and 07-15 versions and observe class inheritance.


Root Cause



A backwards compatibility change in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Resolution



Disputes 7 is integrated with FSIF data model and classes, which replaces the PegaApp layer that was referenced in earlier versions.

Users should be able to find equivalent properties and workflow defined in the FSIF layer starting from version 7.
