Portal does not display after upgrading to Pega 7.1.8



After upgrading to Pega 7.1.8 the developer portal does not display correctly.

Error Messages

Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class java.awt.Toolkit
at javax.swing.ImageIcon.<init>(
at com.pegarules.generated.pzGenerateIcon_071017_GWUK5orqbB44imzbibeOcg.pzGenerateIcon07_10_17


Steps to Reproduce

Login to the developer portal.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is defect/misconfiguration in the operating environment. 


The explanation for this behavior is as follows:

The option
 '-Djava.awt.headless=true' was missing in the setenv.bat environment configuration file. This option is required. Refer to the installation manual for further details.
