Position of collapse icon in embedded reports on UI

SA-14480

Summary

Inside a dynamic layout within a UI section, a report definition is embedded as the data source. At run time, there is an icon for collapsing or expanding the report. The problem is if there are multiple reports to display, the collapse icon appears to be aligned only with the title of the first report, even though the collapse action applies to all of the reports.

The requirement is a configuration that would collapse each task list individually, or all of them at once.

Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce

1. Source a grid repeat layout from a report definition.

2. Within one of the cells in the grid, set a section include.

3. The included wrapper section contains a dynamic layout with another section include.

4. This included section contains another grid repeat sourced by a different report definition to display a task list.

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules. Collapsible headers disabled on both the grid repeat layouts.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Enable
“Display container header and title” and set the Header type to “Collapsible” for both grid repeat layouts:

This will provide expand or collapse icons for each individual task list, as well as for the entire layout containing all of the task lists.
