Error Messages

Program Run failed with correspondence attachment which says "Batch strategy execution failed: Failed to complete batch run & WO is open running for last: 30 minutes and progress of records are constant for long time "



Steps to Reproduce



1. Create Outbound Campaign.
2. Include Segment with population 62000.
3. Create simple Strategy with one Set Property Component.
4. Include Offer flow with Send Email Shape.

 Create BATCHOUTPRXXXX for Strategy Batch execution. It took two hours for this table to get all 62000 records.

No offer sent to users and FlowStatus is Null.


Root Cause



The joined VIEW with the Customer table was the issue.

More time was spent while running Set Property which was referencing data from the VIEW, hence Strategy Batch execution was taking long.


Resolution



After changing the VIEW to Materialized VIEW, the Program distribution run for the same batch size took two minutes to complete as against two hours taken earlier.
