Propensity values do not reflect on exporting ADM models

SA-55968

Summary

The requirement is to move the Adaptive Decision Manager (ADM) models from production to staging for offline analysis. The propensity values do not reflect in the exported target system and models.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

Export ADM models from one environment to another.

Root Cause

The scoring models for the factories are still present, hence, the reconciliation task that fires when the first ADM worker node is restarted does not recreate them from the imported factories.

Resolution

Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

In the target system, only the Adaptive rules should be present and not the models. These should be interpreted as no factories, that is, relational database mapped to Data-Decision-ADM-DB-Factory, and no scoring models (in Cassandra).

To achieve this, use the pxDeleteModelsByCriteria activity or the Adaptive Models Management page to delete the models that are imported on the target system.
