Summary

Properties dialog for any element in XML Stream/Parse XML are not opening when clicked.
This happens only on IE-11.

Steps to Reproduce

1) Open any OOTB XML Stream/Parse XMl rule which has tree structure. Ex: getObjectByPath XML Stream rule.
2) Click/Double Click a child element.
3) Nothing happens.

Expected behavior is attributes dialog will be opened.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. 

Parse XML/Stream XML are form based rules till ml6. They are converted to harness based in Pega 7.1.7, As this is fixed in Latest release and issue is only for developers, no HFix can be provided

Resolution

This issue is resolved through the following local change: 

To handle the case in Pega 7.1.5, we would recommend to,
1) Use a lower version of IE. Ex: IE-8.
2) Un-check Auto-generated XML? Check box and edit the source accordingly.
