Property label not displayed in the validation message

SA-74978

Summary

On including the HarnessErrorList section rule, at runtime, the property Label does not display for the Validation message. The property displays instead.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure a launch harness (new document) in one of the navigation links. In the Harness screen, a link is present that launches another harness (replace current) which includes the pyCaseErrorSection.
  2. Click Submit on the harness screen.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error.

In the Validation activity, getMessagesAll() and pxAddMessageToPage() functions were used to display errors on the Page as a step in their activity. This implementation was added because error messages could not be displayed on the UI.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Use Page-Set-Messages with page as pyDisplayHarness instead of the getMessagesAll() and pxAddMessageToPage() function calls.
