PUIC: button alignment and function builder issue for reports
SA-3546
Summary
A developer observes that when working with the standard report definition instancess, modifying the filter values will display an incorrectly aligned SELECT VALUES button. The developer also observes that the Function Builder has been reduced in size on the browser window.
Error Messages
No errors are found in the Pega Logfile; no error messages are displayed on screen.
Steps to Reproduce
To reproduce this issue:
1) Open any standard report definition
2) Select the filter section and click on any filter caption.
3) The filter section will be displayed; click on the SELECT VALUS button. Observe the problem: the button is no longer aligned properly on screen.
4) If the user now selects the Function Builder, the resulting display is also incorrectly rendered.
Root Cause
The root cause was determined to be a configuration problem with the Browser: the Process Commander Platform Support guide states that when using Microsoft Internet Explorer, the browser can not be configured to use Compatibility Mode - the browser must be configured to use the Standard Document mode.
Resolution
The Microsoft Internet Explorer browser session was reconfigured to use the Standard Document mode.
