Pulse displays HTML content as string



When service email rule is configured to prefer HTML, the OOTB email listener (created by enabling Email Instantiation on the case type) adds the emails body to the pulse by default. However, pulse displays the HTML content as a string.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a case
  2. Enable email instantiation on Settings > Email Instantiation > select email account > check Enable email listener checkbox
  3. Navigate to the service email rule > Request tab under message data and set Handle HTML content to Inline - prefer HTML for email Body
  4. Send an email containing HTML content to the mailbox

Root Cause

Pulse notes does not currently support HTML.


HTML support for pulse notes is scheduled to be added in a future Pega release.
