pxNumber control for field behaves incorrectly for some browsers

SA-5743

Summary

pxNumber control for field behaves incorrectly in the browsers like chrome , firefox, etc.
Fields having property type Number are not showing value on the screen after a submit, even when the values for the corresponding properties are present on clipboard.

Steps to Reproduce

1) Try to copy the value from one populated field having pxNumber control to another field having same control.
2) Check that the value is present on clipboard but will not show on the screen for second field in browsers like chrome and firefox.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is withing browser used by PRPC.
After installing Hfix-8381, the pxNumber control is using the HTML 5 type=number. Unfortunately, this type number has cross browser localization issues.

Resolution

Configure the pxNumber control to use the "text" type rather than the "number" type (as it was before Hfix-8381).
