pxNumber defaults changed from PRPC 6.1 to Pega 7.1.7

Summary



pxNumber control in  PRPC 6.1 had decimal places set to 2. In Pega 7.1.7, the decimal places is set to 'Auto', which results in no decimal values being displayed for whole numbers.  Hovering over the parameters in the control defines the default setting as "Default value as per prconfig.xml", however, there is no such setting in the file to update.

Steps to Reproduce



Use pxNumber control in any section displayed in a UI. 

Root Cause



This is a regression bug. 

Resolution



This issue is scheduled to be addressed in future update release Pega 7.1.8.
