pxThrobber does not display while system performs a task

Summary



Pega Customer Service 7.12 is installed on Pega 7.1.5.
The pxThobber (Loading indicator) does not display when the system performs a task (computation).

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to the system as a Customer Service Representative (CSR).
  2. Click Inbound Call.
  3. Navigate to the Product Finder screen.
  4. Click Search.
  5. Click the + icon. The system takes a few seconds to add the Offer to the cart; but the busy indicator does not display.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Busy indicator does not display when data transforms are running in the background.


Resolution



Apply HFix-45546.
