pyGridModalTemplate - Prev and Submit buttons don't show

SA-9701

Summary

pyGridModalTemplate - Prev and Submit buttons don't show.

In Pega 7.1.7, a modal exists for editing entries in a table. On the modal, only the Cancel and Next buttons appear. The Prev and Submit buttons are never shown. The same setup in Pega 6.3.1 has all 4 buttons showing properly. How do we get the Prev and Submit buttons showing correctly in 7.1.7?

Error Messages

No error message

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a modal that access a table or something, where you can use all 4 buttons (Next, Prev, Cancel, Submit).
2. Run the flow and check for the presence and functionality of all 4 buttons.

Root Cause

When Repeat Grid is configured to use the default template for Modal, the default one picks up from the below Ruleset.

It is the reason only two buttons are seen.

Resolution

Below Local-change has been provided:

1. Overwrite the default template.

2.  So, the template gets picked from Pega-UIEngine.
