PYLABEL limitation (64 characters)

SA-12032

Summary

When the operator Full name is greater then 64 characters, work party creation results into error

Error Messages

A Processing Error has occurred.
Object Key
.pyWorkParty(Creator).pyLabel: "Ms [-------------------Operator Full Name--------------]" is too long, maximum length allowed is 64

Steps to Reproduce

Create an operator with full name exceeding 64 chars and then try adding the operator as a work party

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.
pyLabel property in GetOperatorIDFromClipboard activity has been assigned with OperatorId's pyTitle and pyUserName and can only hold 64 characters. So, if either the pyTitle or pyUserName is big, it cannot fit into the pyLabel and thus throwing error.

Resolution

The issue is resolved with Hfix-23049
