pzFileUploadGadget localization does not occur completely



As a part of our work on Pega localization, user wants to translate all the messages from the Activity pzFileUploadGadget.

Some of them (example: "File ** doesn't exist or empty") are enclosed in java-step 7.

User would not want to override Rule by changing the java-code, so user wants to modify pzFileUploadGadget and provide an opportunity to access the message text without changing the code.

Steps to Reproduce

Try to upload an empty *.txt file to Pega Pulse. pzFileUploadGadget will be called.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules: pzFileUploadGadget activity is not localized.


Apply HFix-31260.
