pzUpdateClipboardWithAutomationValues - Json parsing issue

SA-34903

Summary

User mentioned Pega cannot correctly receive text value with comma character(s). No error message appears in Pega screen, and the wrong value is stored in the Clipboard.

It looks like a bug of pzUpdateClipboardWithAutomationValues Activity.

The format coming back from the Robot is in the format such as {"Date":"2017/01/1","Amount":"15,000"}, which eventually stored in Param.jsonString.

When comma character(s) reside(s) in the returned text value, then the value is mistakenly delimited there.

See the following error message inside Pega log file.

"Exception in updating clipboard from JSON object"

Resolution

Apply HFix-32929.
