Query 3: Given the requirement to install Insurance Industry Framework (IIF) v7.14, if the "IIFv714_SampleData.jar" would already been imported as part of the IIF installation, is it still required to import this file - "IIFv712_SampleData.jar" as part of CPMI installation?

Resolution

Query1:  Is it required to create a new Database user named “Sample” for the PegaRULES Database ahead of creating a Data-Admin-DB-Name instance? If yes, Does this Sample user to be given privileges similar to those given to Database User for PRPC (i.e PegaRULES Admin User)?
Ans: No, it is not required to create a new database user named "Sample". This is for verification purpose and script can directly be run in the PegaRULES schema.

Query2:  Is it requried to connect PegaRULES Database as PegaRULES Admin User for running the Sample sql scripts?
Ans: Yes, It is needed to connect to PegaRULES database schema and execute the Sample SQL scripts.

Query 3: Given the requirement to install Insurance Industry Framework (IIF) v7.14, if the "IIFv714_SampleData.jar" would already been imported as part of the IIF installation, is it still required to import this file - "IIFv712_SampleData.jar" as part of CPMI installation?
Ans: Not needed, if this JAR file was already imported as part of IIF installation. User can ignore the IIFv712_SampleData.jar import step as part of CPMI installation.
