Resolution

Marketing Director makes use of existing email servers from any vendor as long as they support the Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP) as defined in the Internet standard RFC821.

Emails transmitted from CMD to the email server are secured with Java Mail API encryption (TLS encryption) and will be applicable for all emails sent from CMD to email server. However, CMD doesn’t provide encryption of the email contents.

These functionality (encryption) is applicable irrespective of in-house email server or email server on cloud.
