Radio buttons do not display correctly in grids in Windows 10



In Windows 10, radio buttons do not display correctly in the grids. This occurs when using the Internet Explorer 11.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a section with a repeating grid layout and one of the columns in the grid should be a radio button
  2. Add another radio button in the same section outside the grid
  3. Create a case in Windows 10 using Internet Explorer 11 touch screen laptop
  4. Run the flow

Root Cause

This is a known issue with Internet Explorer 11 on touchscreen devices. It treats desktops as a tablet and for a tablet or phone use cases, special styles are applied to radio buttons which results in the incorrectly display.


Perform the following local-change: 

Add the below code to UserWorkForm:

.ie11.tablet td.gridCell input[type='radio'] { 
visibility: visible; 

.ie11.tablet td.gridCell [data-ctl='RadioGroup'] input[type='radio'] { 
visibility: hidden;
