RC 62 required question not mandatory



You note that with Smart Dispute 15.1 compliance, for reason code 62 all condition codes the below questions are mandatory:

" ‘Does the Issuer certify the account number was closed? "
• 'Does the Issuer certify the account number was listed on Exception File with a Pick Up Response, for a minimum of 30 calendar days?'

Users reports that RED 'X' marks are not displayed for these questions and they are not mandatory fields.

The validation is not displaying for the manadatory questions

Steps to Reproduce

Create a chargeback case for reason code 62 any reason code. and click on submit.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in customer application code/rules. The questions are not mandatory, but for users who wish to make them required a hotfix is available.


Optional Smart Dispute hotfix HFix-21362 provides this validation.
