Re-consuming WSDL using wizard creates duplicate properties



When a developer re-consumes a SOAP WSDL file after adding new elements and complex types properties created with duplicate names. The wizard adds a "2" at the end of the new property (e.g. yourProperty and yourProperty2).

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use the SOAP Connector Wizard.
  2. Upload an XSD File via the browse feature.
  3. Have the wizard create the properties and classes.
  4. Re-import the XSD after new elements are introduced.

Root Cause

The root cause is that an internal activity which is supposed to check for duplicates is functioning incorrectly.


Apply HFix-28319 to address this issue in 7.1.9
