Recent Activities are not shown in Recent Activities section



On click of a button, using OOTB activities user was creating an work object and saving into the DB. User is using OOTB “Declare_pxRecents" page as a source for repeat grid to display the recently opened items.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a work object at the back end using OOTB activities.
  2. Check the recent activity section for the newly created work object. (Recent activity section contains a repeat grid whose source is OOTB Page “Declare_pxRecents".)

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules. From an customized portal user was creating an work object using OOTB activities and saving it into DB, but they are not opening the newly created work object. Now, user opens the recent section to the check for the newly created work object.


Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

If the user wants to display the work object in the recent section, they need to open it after the creation. Then in the recent section, the work object will be visible.
