Refresh button on the portal dashboard isn't working as expected

Summary



The user has two stages under a case type. On launching the case manager portal and by clicking on stage1, the stage count( case id's) are displayed. The user now clicks on dashboard, selects stage2, the count of stage 2 is not displayed, however, the previous results of stage 1 is displayed. Even on click of the refresh button, the page is not refreshed.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create few stages for a particular case
  2. Launch case manager portal, click on stage 1->this would display the count of stage1.
  3. Click on dashboard->then click stage 2, the count of stage 2 is not displayed. However the previous case ids are displayed.


Root Cause



In Embed-Stage "pxDisplayStagesReportStages" section, The run report definition action is set to "New document" for the target field.

Resolution



Provided the below local change:

Open the section “pxDisplayStagesReportStages” in “Embed-Stage” class of UI kit ruleset. Override the section configurations by making the below changes.



2)Open the cell properties of link “.pyStageName” and “pyCount”, in the action tab, under “Report Definition” set target as “Replace Current”.
