Refresh event does not wait for the local action to submit

SA-8943

Summary

User has a button on the rows of Repeat grid with two On Click events - one to launch a local action and other to refresh the current section. Second event (refresh this section) does not wait for the first one (local action) to complete.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Repeating grid.
2. Add a button control in one of the columns.
2. On the button control, configure two events -
one to launch local action and other to refresh current section.
3. M
ake changes or add data in this local action, and submit those changes.

Once submitted, the grid is expected to refresh and it shall contain the updated data.

Root Cause

When a repeat grid is updated (in this case, when the launched local action is submitted), the grid, by default, gets refreshed. Adding another 'Refresh this section' event nullifies the submission of local action.

Resolution

This issue is resolved through the following Local-change:

Remove the second event - 'Refresh-This Section', and configure the first event - Local Action.
