Refresh of the work Object not happening on screen

Summary



In the Care Management Application (CMA), a user opens a case and launches a Task from under the 'Care management Case' and performs on the case to closure and closes the work object.

When user lands on to the original Case (Parent Case), the task tree is not refreshed until the user clicks on refresh button manually.

User is expecting the refresh to happen without having to explicitly click on the refresh button.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In the Care Management Application, open a case and open a Task under the Care management Case.
  2. Perform the case to closure and close the work object. When redirected to the original Case (Parent Case), the task tree is not refreshed.


Root Cause



Expected behavior.

Resolution



This behavior is by design. As parent case and child case run in different threads. For this reasonn CMA application provides a explicit "Refresh" button in care management case tree section.
