Steps to Reproduce

.Prop1 property is used in Decision table. Developer wants to return different values based on the values of this property. 

Prop1 values like below 
    AA BB CC 
    BB CC DD 
      Note: Two spaces between each word is used.

a.Check-out this decision table and add or remove spaces between words and check-in decision table. All values are saved properly.
b.Save as decision table to higher ruleset or version or with different name.

This shows the original decision taken before check-out and check-in table is lost with the previous edits(removed spaces).
 

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules: On decision table rule form, when there are multiple spaces between two words in the property value field (conditions value), the spaces are replaced with single space on re opening the rule form.

Resolution

Apply HFix-23778.
