Report definition failing - Small INT datatype column is present

Summary



After upgrading from 6.2 SP2 to 7.1.6, all report definitions are failing which reference column of data type defined as SmallInt in database. These columns are defined as Integer in PRPC.

This worked fine in 7.15.


Error Messages



2014-09-18 11:58:02,698 [ WebContainer : 4] [TABTHREAD0] [<IP Address>] ( rd.resolve.SqlReportResolver) ERROR XXX - An error occured during resolving the report definition - No enum const class com.pega.pegarules.data.external.rd.constants.ColumnType.SMALLINT
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No enum const class com.pega.pegarules.data.external.rd.constants.ColumnType.SMALLINT
at java.lang.Enum.valueOf(Enum.java:207)
at com.pega.pegarules.data.external.rd.constants.ColumnType.valueOf(ColumnType.java:27)


Steps to Reproduce



Run any report definition with referencing column of data type SmallInt


Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.



Resolution



This issue is resolved by Hfix
