Report Definition fails on columns that are of type LONG VARCHAR

SA-33554

Summary



Report Definition using the properties that are linked to column with LONG VARCHAR types are failing when run. The error message is as below.

Error Messages



** ** No enum const class com.pega.pegarules.data.external.rd.constants.ColumnType.LONG VARCHAR ** No enum const class com.pega.pegarules.data.external.rd.constants.ColumnType.LONG VARCHAR

Steps to Reproduce



1. Create report definition on data class mapped to DB2 table.
2. Add column with property correspond to any LONG VARCHAR table column.
3. Save, then run report definition.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. LONG VARCHAR is not supported type and hence the issue.

Resolution



Apply HFix-31772 to resolve this issue.
