Report Definition filter not picking correct data

Developer has created ReportDefinition in framework layer and ‘Report on descendent class instances’ options is selected in it. When user runs this Report from implementation layer, results are fetching properly from implementation layer.

But when user tries to change the filter criteria by clicking on filter property, ‘Available value’ list present in the Pick Value modal dialogue are fetching the results from Framework layer which is not expected behaviour.

Error Messages

No error messages, but the expected values are not displayed in Pick Value modal dialogue.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Report Definition on the Framework Level with the ‘report on descendant classes’ option ticked.
2. Have a filter criteria on one of the exposed columns in the work table and make it editable for the use at run time.
3. Login as a user whose class group is at the implementation level (which inherits from the Framework) and run the report.
4. The report fetches the cases created in the implementation class with no issues.
5. When the user tries to edit the filter criteria and hit the "select values" button to pick a value, expected values are not displayed.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.
In pzGetAvailableValues activity 5th step taking the class name from property pyClassName which is present on pyReportContentPage on clipboard. This pyClassName contains the Framework level class name.

This issue is scheduled to be resolved in update release PRPC 7.1ML8
