Report does not display correct date format



In the Report the date format is configured as "01/01/01" and the system date time format as DD/MM/YY.

So user is expecting the date field will display in the DD/MM/YY format. But Display format is MM/DD/YY.

Steps to Reproduce

1. In the Report the date format is configure as "01/01/01".
2. Set Default locale as blank for that user who will run the report. System date time format is DD/MM/YY.

Root Cause

If the locale is not specified at the operator level we always consider the browser specific language settings.


A bug with ID BUG-288818, has been raised by the Product Management.
