Report Scheduling is not working in 7.1.7

Summary



Developer using Report Browser(RB) and scheduling reports and subscribing to the scheduling reports. Once subscribed to scheduled report it is supposed to send an email based on task scheduling, But its not happening and the status in the scheduled tasks is showing as sucess.

Error Messages



There is no error Message ,the email which is supposed to send, is not happening


Steps to Reproduce



1.Select a any report in report browser and right-click on a report. The Report Information form appears.
2.If you can subscribe to the report, the Schedule button appears. Click it to display the Schedule Reporting Taskform.
3.The form has three sections:
Task Definition
Task Scheduling
Task Output Processing
4.key in the details and click on submit
5.Once user subscribed to a report, the envelope appears with a green check mark.


Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.


In pyActionSendMailReporting activity, FromUserName was set to EmailAccount.pyEmailAddress instead of EmailAccount.pySMTPUserName.


Resolution



This issue is resolved by hotfix item with ID
HFix-20487.
