Reports Landing page displays two new buttons



After migrating to Pega Platform 8.2.4, two additional buttons (Add Category and Add Report) display on the report landing page in the Report Browser.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Migrate Pega Platform 7.3 to Pega Platform 8.2.4.
  2. Launch the Case Manager portal.
  3. Open the Report Browser to view reports.

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules.
The Custom Harness used in the report landing page consisted of the pyReportBrowserHeader7 section where the Add Category and Add Report buttons are present. The buttons consist of a Visibility condition by default which is set to true. Hence, the buttons are visible on the Report landing page.


Perform the following local-change:

Override the Visibility condition in the Add Category and Add Report buttons in the pyReportBrowserHeader7 section to hide the buttons from the Report landing page.
