Required check error inconsistency for radio buttons

SA-67572

Summary

When configuring radio buttons with the Required option, an error occurs and the labelError class is added only to the first radio button.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create radio buttons.
  2. Mark them as required.
  3. Finish the assignment without selecting radio buttons to set off an error. Check the HTML of the page where radio buttons are defined. The labelError is added only to the first radio button.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
The radio case in findlabelfor() in PEGA_VALIDATORS.js rule was handled incorrectly.

Resolution

  1. Apply HFix-46746.
  2. Change the code in line 1955, to replace 'startsWith' method with 'withindex of' (this is for UI issues created in the Internet Explorer browser after installing the hotfix).
