Requirement to disable DateTime control selection for holidays

Summary

Requirement to disable the DateTime control selection for Closed days or Holidays defined on the Business calendar. However, only weekends are disabled.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Define a Business calendar with Holidays or Closed days defined. For example, 25th Dec 2020 (Should not be a Weekend)
  2. Add a DateTime control to a section
  3. Configure the DateTime control to disable weekends with the Custom Business calendar
  4. Load the section on a portal. 25th Dec 2020 which is defined as a Holiday on the Business calendar is not disabled. Only weekends are disabled


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. Disabling weekdays is technically impossible from the platform. 

Resolution



An enhancement request, FDBK-67038, is created for consideration by Pega Product Management.
