Retrieval request not accepted by Visa for Interlink Transaction

Summary



In Smart Dispute for Visa, Visa does not accept 'Retrieval Request' for Interlink transactions (Network ID -0003) for both fraud and non-fraud cases.

Error Messages



"Message - A Request for Copy cannot be submitted for this network and/or transaction type"


Steps to Reproduce



1. Create a fraud or a non-fraud case.
2. Proceed with reimbursement.
3. Initiate a retrieval request with Network ID -0003 and send it to Visa.


Root Cause



RFCs (Request for Copy) are acceptable only for network ID 0002 and not for 0003.

Resolution



Apply the Smart Dispute HFix-23333, which correctly eliminates the RFC for network ID 0003.
