Summary
The Rich Text Editor (RTE) Text Format functionalities like Bold, Underline etc do not work. The issue occurs on the Internet Explorer browser.

Steps to Reproduce
Check the Text Format functionality of RTE in the User Interface (UI) elements of Pega 8.3.
Root Cause
Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration is enabled in the client's Virtual Private Network (VPN).
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
- Disable the Internet Explorer (IE) Enhanced Security Configuration in Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)
- Update the setting
- Readd URL to the local internet
