SaveAs of a Decision Tree allows all functions

SA-15825

Summary

A Decision Tree is configured with the checkboxes - 'Allow changes to function lists' and 'Allow Selection of Additional Return Actions', checked in the 'Configuration' Tab.
When Save As is performed of the rule (SaveAs the Rule), the new Decision Tree contains all the functions and is not restricted to the configured list.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a Decision Tree, in the Configure tab, check the 'Allow changes to function lists' and 'Allow Selection of Additional Return Actions' and add some function alias.
  2. Save As the Decision Tree and try to see the list of functions appearing in the Decision tab for both conditions and return types. Expected Result should be that only the functions mentioned in Configuration section should appear but the actual result is all the functions appear in both the condition and return types.

Root Cause

The list of available functions is not considered in the Save As case.

Resolution

This corrects itself when the rule is saved, and reopened.

This is scheduled to be fixed in a future Pega release.
