SaveAs of a report definition with invalid name causes issue



Performing a "save as" of a Report Definition (RD) with invalid name results in error stack trace to end user, instead of a validation error on name field of save-as dialog.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Perform a save as of an RD with invalid name.
2. Then observe that the save as modal displays stack trace to end user.
3.To see this issue configure Dynamic System Setting "displayexceptiontraceback" to true.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. You need to add a When condition in the RULE-OBJ-ACTIVITY RULE-OBJ-REPORT-DEFINITION PZRRSAVEAS.


This issue is resolved by HFix-22644.
