Scheduled report task does not send email notification



In the Report browser, a report task is scheduled to run every day and send it to the specified user through an email notification. However, the scheduled report is not sending reports since one month.
An error occurs on opening the report from the user portal.

Error Messages

Unable to Run Rule

Unable to open instance for execution. It may be in a RuleSet not visible to you, may have availability set to blocked or no, or may have security restrictions.

Steps to Reproduce

In a report browser, schedule a report to run every day and send email notification. 

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. The corresponding agent ScheduledTaskProcessor was disabled in the user portal.


Perform the following local-change: 
  1. Perform 'Revalidate and Save' while opening the report
  2. Enable the 'ScheduledTaskProcessor' agent
