Screen does not respond after attaching a file from a mobile



After attaching a file using a Samsung Mobile or Tablet device, the screen does not respond. This behavior occurs in the Chrome browser.

Error Messages

Uncaught DOM Exception: Failed to read the 'ContentDocument' Property from 'HTMLFrameElement'

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the application in the Mobile mode in the Chrome browser.
  2. Navigate to the third tab of the screen flow in the work object.
  3. Click Add Attachment and attach a file.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. The logic to remove the 'statusDiv' from the Document Object Model (DOM) caused JavaScript errors and failed to read the contentDocument property from the HTMLIFrameElement.
